President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, calling June's inflation numbers 'great news.' He stated that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) fell by the largest margin in a single month in over six years, and that the actual June CPI was below the forecast of all 67 economists polled by Bloomberg.

Trump listed declines in prices for gasoline, electricity, auto insurance, hotels, and prescription drugs. He added that with strong wage growth and declining prices, real wages rose by 0.8% in June. The post also highlighted surging factory construction, rising manufacturing jobs, and increasing investment flowing into the country.

Concluding, Trump declared, 'The Golden Age of America is here!' The remarks come amid ongoing debate over inflation trends and economic policy.
