Oil prices rise over 1.5% after consolidation

Brent crude oil prices advanced over 1.5% during European trading on Friday, regaining upward momentum after a period of quiet consolidation.

XBRUSD

Oil prices climbed on Friday, recovering from a period of low volatility. During European trading hours, Brent crude advanced more than 1.5%, ending a brief consolidation phase.

The move higher suggests renewed buying interest after prices had been in a quiet mode over the prior two sessions.
