WTI Needs Decisive Break Above $85 for Fresh Advance

NYMEX WTI futures traded about 0.55% higher near $84.80 during European hours, with $85 still seen as the key hurdle for a stronger move.

NYMEX WTI futures were up roughly 0.55% near $84.80 during the European trading session.

The main technical focus remains the $85 area. A decisive break above that level would be needed to open the door for a fresh leg higher, according to the update.

Traders are watching whether price can clear this resistance convincingly; without that, the advance may stay limited.
