US Army Says Bradley Repairs Hit by Older Parts Shortages

The US Army Contracting Command has acknowledged that the most severe pinch is concentrated among older, difficult-to-source Bradley parts. Some components are no longer manufactured, while others are stuck in supplier bottlenecks.

To keep vehicles moving, the Army is adopting a phased repair approach. Bradleys will be patched up just enough to move, shoot, and communicate before being sent onward, rather than waiting for every missing item.

Ukraine will have to wait for non-essential missing pieces. The immediate priority is restoring core combat functions rather than completing all repairs at once.
