Silver Holds Gains Above $58.50 on US-Iran Talks

Silver extended gains for a second day, holding above $58.50 as safe-haven demand rose on US-Iran diplomatic signals.

Silver (XAG/USD) traded around $58.70 per troy ounce in Asian hours Tuesday, building on the prior session’s advance. The metal held firmly above the $58.50 mark, extending its winning streak to two consecutive days.

Support stemmed from a fresh round of US-Iran talks, which intensified geopolitical uncertainty and boosted demand for non-yielding assets. Traders also cited broader economic concerns that reinforced the metal’s safe-haven appeal. No further details on the talks were provided.
