NZD/USD Falls to 0.5870 as Safe-Haven Dollar Strengthens

The New Zealand Dollar weakens to around 0.5870 against the US Dollar amid safe-haven flows following an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon.

NZD/USD extended its decline for a second straight day on Thursday, trading near 0.5870 during European hours. The pair came under pressure as the US Dollar attracted safe-haven demand after an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon.

The risk-off mood drove traders toward the greenback, weighing on the risk-sensitive New Zealand Dollar. The move pushed the pair further into negative territory, adding to losses from the previous session.
