The Mexican peso extended its winning streak to ten straight sessions on Thursday, rising more than 0.12% against the US dollar. The move came after the Bank of Mexico (Banxico) opted to leave its key interest rate unchanged, a decision that supported the currency.
USD/MXN traded at 17.21 at the time of writing, having reached a daily high earlier in the session. The pair has been grinding lower throughout the rally, reflecting broad peso strength.
