Indian Rupee Flat, Lower Oil Prices Bolster Upside

The Indian Rupee was little changed against the US Dollar in Thursday's session, with USD/INR hovering near 95.12. The pair rebounded from a fresh monthly low of 94.83 recorded on the previous day.
Lower crude oil prices are backing the upside for the rupee. As a major oil importer, India benefits from reduced import costs when oil falls, which supports the currency.
