Indian Rupee flat ahead of US Nonfarm Payrolls data

The Indian rupee opened unchanged against the dollar on Friday, with traders cautious before the release of the July US Nonfarm Payrolls report.

The Indian rupee started Friday's session unchanged against the US dollar, with market participants holding back ahead of the July US employment figures. The currency pair was little moved as traders awaited the Nonfarm Payrolls report, due at 12:30 GMT (6:00 PM IST).

The NFP data is expected to provide key insights into the strength of the US labor market and could influence the Federal Reserve’s interest rate outlook. A stronger-than-expected reading may boost the dollar, while a miss could weigh on the greenback.

Trading volumes were subdued during the Asian session, reflecting the cautious tone. Further direction is likely to emerge after the data release.
