Gold eases to near $4,050 as US pauses Iran airstrikes

Gold price dipped to around $4,050 per ounce in early Asian trading on Tuesday, pulling back from a recent rally after the US called off planned airstrikes on Iran.

XAUUSD

XAU/USD retreated to the $4,050 area during Tuesday's early Asian session, paring some of the gains that had been driven by escalating US-Iran tensions. The pullback followed reports that Washington paused imminent military strikes against Iran.

  • Spot gold traded near $4,050, easing from its recent highs.
  • The US decision to halt airstrikes reduced safe-haven demand.
  • Market participants now turn their focus to the progress of US-Iran diplomatic talks.
