GBP/USD Under Pressure Near 1.3420; 1.3470 Trendline Remains Key Hurdle

The pound softened 0.1% to around 1.3420 against the dollar during European trading, with a downward-sloping trendline at 1.3470 capping any upside.

The British pound weakened 0.1% against the US dollar on Wednesday, trading near 1.3420 during European hours. The pair struggled to overcome a downward-sloping trendline around 1.3470, which remains a critical resistance level.

Sellers have consistently emerged at that trendline, keeping the GBP/USD recovery in check.
