GBP/USD flirts with 1.3500 as dollar struggles to emerge from NFP shadow
Sterling tested the 1.3500 level on Monday after Friday's US payrolls miss weakened the greenback. The pair is up marginally but struggling to hold above the key psychological barrier.
GBPUSD
GBP/USD is hovering near 1.3495 on Monday, up just 0.04% as the dollar remains heavy after Friday's disappointing US employment data. The pair tested the psychological 1.3500 level but has failed to secure a firm foothold above it.
The US dollar slid following the non-farm payrolls miss, which briefly drove sterling higher at the end of last week. However, today's price action shows limited follow-through, leaving the pair trapped near the key resistance.
