The euro edged lower against the U.S. dollar on Wednesday after facing resistance near the 1.1550 level, a zone last seen in mid-June, Scotiabank noted. The pullback comes as EUR/USD spot has nearly converged with the bank's fair value estimate, derived from the 2-year Germany–U.S. yield spread. Despite the stall, fundamentals remain broadly supportive for the euro as yield differentials turn in its favor.
