Erdogan Urges Trump to Keep Diplomacy With Iran, Criticizes Gaza Strikes
Turkey's president told Donald Trump that diplomatic talks with Iran should continue and said Ankara is ready to contribute, while accusing Israel of attacking Palestinians in Gaza.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told President Trump that it is important to continue negotiations with Iran in order to benefit from diplomacy, and indicated Turkey is ready to contribute to that effort.
Erdogan also said Israel is attacking Palestinians in Gaza at a time when the second phase of the peace plan was supposed to take effect.
