The British pound advanced against the U.S. dollar, trading near three-week highs above 1.35, as a disappointing Nonfarm Payrolls report cooled expectations for further Fed rate hikes.

The GBP/USD pair pushed above the 1.3500 handle on Friday as a weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs report dented the dollar.
The Nonfarm Payrolls miss prompted markets to reassess the path of Federal Reserve tightening, with traders paring back expectations for further rate increases.
Sterling rallied to around 1.3506, hovering near its strongest levels in three weeks, as the greenback came under broad selling pressure.
