Brent crude tops $90 as US-Iran war threatens Hormuz oil supplies

Brent crude rose above $90 a barrel in early Tuesday trading, hitting its highest level in more than three weeks as the US-Iran conflict keeps energy markets on edge.

Oil prices gained in early Tuesday trading, with Brent climbing above $90 a barrel to its strongest level in more than three weeks.

The US–Iran war continues to inject uncertainty into energy markets. Traders are pricing in the threat to oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz, which is keeping upward pressure on crude.
