AI-Generated Content Now 41% of LinkedIn Long-Form Posts, Study Shows
A new study finds AI-generated text makes up 41% of long-form content on LinkedIn, while engagement for such posts lags 45% behind human-written ones.
AI-generated content continues its rapid expansion across social platforms, according to a new study. The research shows that 41% of long-form content on LinkedIn, 13% on Reddit, and 10% on Substack is now produced by AI.
Short-form content is also affected: 30% of short-form posts on LinkedIn and 12% on Substack are AI-generated. However, the study highlights a significant engagement gap—AI-written LinkedIn posts receive 45% less interaction than those written by humans, on average.
The findings underline a growing divide between AI-produced and human-crafted content, positioning authenticity as a key differentiator on social media.
