USD/CHF Hits New YTD High Above 0.8050 on Hawkish Fed Bets

USD/CHF rallied to a new yearly high of 0.8059, surpassing the previous peak from March 2026 as the Greenback strengthened on hawkish Federal Reserve policy expectations.

USDCHF

The USD/CHF pair extended its rally, reaching a fresh year-to-date high of 0.8059, breaking above the previous 2026 peak of 0.8042 set in March. The move was driven by a broad-based dollar recovery amid expectations of a more hawkish stance from the Federal Reserve.

Technically, the pair has formed an inverted head-and-shoulders pattern, suggesting potential for further upside. However, traders should monitor resistance levels and any shifts in Fed rhetoric that could alter the dollar's trajectory.
