USD/CHF Edges Higher as Middle East Tensions Support USD
The USD/CHF pair rose 0.27% to 0.8123, with buyers maintaining control above the 0.8000 level. Escalating Middle East tensions are supporting the US Dollar, and traders now eye a breakout above the 0.8150 resistance that has capped gains since July 2025.
The USD/CHF pair edged higher on the session, trading at 0.8123 as of writing, up 0.27%. Buyers remain in control above the key 0.8000 level, with the pair now testing a major resistance zone.
Escalating tensions in the Middle East are providing support for the US Dollar as a safe-haven currency. The 0.8150 resistance level has capped upside since July 2025, and a breakout above this area would signal further bullish momentum.
Technical indicators suggest the bullish bias remains intact as long as price holds above 0.8000. A move above 0.8150 could open the door for a test of higher resistance levels.
