US Warns Iran of Stronger Response After Brief Maritime Truce Violated

According to sources, the US agreed to lift a naval blockade and cease targeting vessels in exchange for Iran halting attacks on ships. Iran complied for roughly one week before resuming attacks 24 hours ago. The US has warned of a harsher response if attacks continue.

Sources report that the United States recently reached a verbal agreement with Iran to de-escalate maritime hostilities. The US committed to ending its blockade and stopping strikes on ships, while Iran agreed to halt all attacks on vessels.

Iran is said to have upheld its part of the deal for approximately one week. However, according to the same sources, Iran resumed targeting ships just 24 hours ago, breaking the brief truce.

The US has responded by warning that it will retaliate "harder than ever" should Iran continue its attacks on shipping. The development signals rising tension in the region, with potential implications for global trade and energy routes.
