US travel stocks opened lower in pre-market trading as rising oil prices, driven by renewed tensions between the US and Iran, weighed on the sector.
United Airlines fell 4.2%, Southwest Airlines dropped 3.3%, and Delta Air Lines decreased 3.2%. On the cruise side, Carnival declined 3.1%, Royal Caribbean was down 3.2%, and Norwegian Cruise Line fell 2.5%.
