US stocks mixed at open: Dow slips while S&P 500 and Nasdaq advance
The Dow Jones Industrial Average eased shortly after the open, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite posted modest gains.

US equity benchmarks opened mixed. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 72.38 points, or 0.13%, to 53,767.61.
The S&P 500 added 6.21 points, or 0.08%, to 7,805.20, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 49.29 points, or 0.18%, to 26,852.32.
