US equity benchmarks opened in positive territory on the latest trading session. The S&P 500 gained 19.48 points to 7,502.71, representing a 0.26% increase. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 281.70 points, or 0.54%, to 52,586.94. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite advanced 8.44 points, or 0.03%, to 26,048.47. All three major indexes opened higher, suggesting a broadly supportive start to the session.
