US ETFs Attract Over $1 Trillion in Inflows in 2026, on Pace for Record Year

US-listed ETFs have seen over $1 trillion in inflows year-to-date in 2026, on track to surpass $2 trillion by year-end, which would be a 33% increase from 2025's record. A record number of ETF launches also continues.

US-listed exchange-traded funds have gathered more than $1 trillion in net inflows so far in 2026, according to data highlighted by The Kobeissi Letter. If the pace holds, total annual inflows could exceed $2 trillion by December, marking the fourth consecutive year of growth and a 33% jump—or $500 billion—above the 2025 record.

Industry expansion is accelerating: 700 new ETFs have launched year-to-date, on track to set another annual record. June alone saw 186 debuts, the highest monthly total ever recorded. The ETF boom shows no signs of slowing, with both existing funds and new entrants drawing strong investor demand.
