US CENTCOM Launches Additional Strikes Against Iran to Protect Strait of Hormuz

The US military has carried out further strikes against Iran at the direction of the commander in chief to degrade Tehran's ability to threaten freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, according to CENTCOM.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced it is conducting additional strikes against Iran, acting on orders from the commander in chief. The operation aims to further reduce Iran's capacity to interfere with freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

The US stated it is holding Iran accountable for what it described as unjustified aggression against commercial shipping and civilian crews in this vital international waterway.
