UOB: USD/SGD Edges Higher, Upside Risks Cited

UOB analyst Quek Ser Leang notes USD/SGD is edging higher after tight consolidation, with intraday upside limited below nearby resistance.

UOB’s Quek Ser Leang observes that USD/SGD has moved slightly higher following a period of narrow consolidation. The analyst notes that the pair’s intraday upside appears capped below a nearby resistance level.

However, the outlook also points to upside risks against the US dollar in the short term, suggesting potential for further gains if the resistance is breached.
