Trump: Iran talks to start Monday after scrapped attack

President Trump said a new round of Iran negotiations will begin Monday, having called off a planned military strike partly at the request of Middle Eastern allies including Saudi Arabia, Bloomberg reported.

President Trump announced that a new round of negotiations with Iran will commence on Monday. The talks come after he decided to cancel a planned military strike against Iran.

The decision to call off the attack was influenced in part by appeals from US allies in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia, according to a Bloomberg report.
