Scheduled Maintenance on July 12

BTSE will perform a three-hour scheduled maintenance on July 12, impacting deposits, withdrawals, spot and futures trading, trading bots, and earn products. Users advised to prepare in advance.

Cryptocurrency exchange BTSE has announced a planned maintenance window on July 12 starting at 7:30 UTC+8. The downtime is expected to last approximately three hours as the platform optimises its infrastructure to improve reliability.

During the maintenance period, several core services will be paused. Deposit and withdrawal functions will be temporarily unavailable. Spot trading will see existing positions remain open, but users will not be able to reduce or add to those positions. Any pending trigger orders will be automatically cancelled. Trading bots, including spot grid bots and DCA bots, will pause and resume execution after maintenance ends.

Futures trading will also be restricted: positions cannot be reduced or added, and no new orders can be placed. Liquidation mechanisms will be suspended during maintenance. However, BTSE cautions that liquidations may resume when the system comes back online, potentially resulting in forced liquidations for under-collateralised positions. The exchange strongly advises users to add collateral or reduce/close futures positions ahead of time.

Earn products will continue to accrue interest during the outage, with payouts resuming post-maintenance. Additional subscriptions and redemptions will be paused. AutoTrader and related services will stop opening new strategies, and existing strategies will cease order execution until maintenance is complete. OTC quotes and conversions will be unavailable.

BTSE recommends users complete any necessary deposits or withdrawals before the start time. Those uncomfortable with exposure during the three-hour window should consider adjusting their spot, futures and other positions in advance. Once maintenance is completed, trading and automated services will resume normally, though any orders that were auto-cancelled will not be restored.
