PDAX Launches 'Tara, Bonding Tayo!' Financial Literacy Series

PDAX has launched 'Tara, Bonding Tayo!', a video series hosted by Boy Abunda that features real conversations about money, investing, and financial stability for everyday Filipinos.

Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX) has launched a new video series titled “Tara, Bonding Tayo!” aimed at promoting financial literacy through candid, real-life discussions. The series is hosted by Boy Abunda, a well-known television personality in the Philippines.

The initiative focuses on how Filipinos from different backgrounds approach money, responsibility, and long-term security. Rather than emphasizing technical jargon or specific financial products, the conversations center on personal stories where financial decisions affect relationships, self-worth, and family dynamics.

Abunda said in the opening episode: “Wealth can mean many things. For some, it’s peace of mind. For others, it’s time, freedom, or legacy. But one thing is for sure—everyone deserves a shot at creating their own definition of wealth. You could do it alone, but you don’t have to. This is where real journeys meet real lessons.”

Guests featured in the series include celebrity radio and TV host Sam YG, who discusses why investing in government bonds became his preferred method for steady financial security. Registered Financial Planner Institute director Randell Tiongson explains the importance of consistent small actions over chasing large returns. Celebrity mom Dianne Medina shares her personal financial challenges and the habits that helped her rebuild stability for her family.

The video series aligns with PDAX’s broader efforts to make investing and wealth-building more accessible. PDAX is a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas-licensed virtual asset service provider. It pioneered the tokenization of Philippine government bonds through Project Bayani, which digitized the Bureau of the Treasury’s Retail Treasury Bonds, allowing for lower minimum investments via digital platforms. These bonds are distributed by PDAX in partnership with its licensed broker-dealer, PDAX Securities Inc. (formerly bonds.ph Inc.).

PDAX also offers products such as PDAX Gold, enabling users to trade digital gold for as little as PHP 500, priced in grams commonly used by Filipinos. A white paper estimates that the Philippines’ tokenized-asset market could reach $60 billion by 2030, encompassing government bonds, mutual funds, equities, and other assets.

Episodes of “Tara, Bonding Tayo!” are available through PDAX’s official channels.
