USDCNY

On Monday, the People's Bank of China (PBOC) set the USD/CNY central parity rate at 6.7911, compared to the previous fixing of 6.7939.

The lower rate signals a modest strengthening of the yuan, as the central bank guides the currency within its managed float. The reference rate serves as the midpoint for daily trading, which is allowed to move within a certain band.
