PBOC Sets USD/CNY Reference Rate at 6.7917

The People's Bank of China set the USD/CNY central parity rate at 6.7917 on Tuesday, slightly stronger than the previous fix of 6.7948, while the onshore rate traded near 6.7706 according to Reuters.

USDCNY

The People's Bank of China (PBOC) fixed the USD/CNY reference rate at 6.7917 for Tuesday's trading session, compared to Monday's fix of 6.7948. The adjustment represents a modest strengthening of the yuan against the dollar.

Market data from Reuters showed the onshore spot rate trading around 6.7706 at the time of the fix.
