New Zealand Dollar gains as ANZ Business Outlook Index surges in July

NZD/USD extended its winning streak to a third day, rising to around 0.5810 after the ANZ Business Outlook Index jumped in July, boosting the kiwi.

The New Zealand Dollar rose against the US Dollar for the third consecutive day during Asian trading on Thursday. NZD/USD traded near 0.5810, supported by strong domestic sentiment.

The advance came after the ANZ Business Outlook Index posted a sharp increase for July, signaling improving confidence in the New Zealand economy. The data provided fresh impetus for the kiwi, which has been moving higher this week.

Market participants are watching for further cues from local data and central bank commentary, but the upbeat survey kept the kiwi bid in early trade.
