NASDAQ 100 futures dropped nearly 3% in premarket trading Tuesday as memory chip stocks Micron and Sandisk sharply declined.

NASDAQ 100 futures fell sharply in Tuesday's premarket, losing nearly 3% as a selloff in memory chip stocks intensified.

Micron (MU) and Sandisk (SNDK) were among the hardest hit, shedding a significant portion of their recent gains and dragging the broader tech-heavy index lower.
