Houthis Claim Drone Strikes on Saudi Oil Supply Routes

Yemen’s Houthi movement says it attacked crude oil transport infrastructure from eastern Saudi Arabia to Yanbu using drones, citing Saudi airspace violations as justification.

BRENT

Yemen’s Houthi military spokesperson announced that several drone strikes targeted sensitive points along the crude oil supply chain from eastern Saudi Arabia to the Red Sea port of Yanbu.

The operation was described as a direct response to Saudi drones breaching Yemeni airspace. No further details were provided on damage or casualties.

The incident could heighten supply risk for Saudi oil exports and add geopolitical pressure to crude markets.
