Home Depot beats Q2 estimates on stronger comparable sales

Home Depot reported second-quarter 2026 results ahead of analyst expectations. Net sales came in at $47.86 billion versus the estimated $47.33 billion.
Comparable sales rose 1.7%, well above the forecast increase of 0.94%. US comparable sales climbed 1.3%, compared with expectations for a 0.85% gain. Merchandise inventories were $26.85 billion, slightly above the $26.29 billion estimate, and adjusted EPS reached $4.92 versus the $4.73 consensus.
The company still sees full-year comparable sales of about 0% to +2% and reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 guidance.
