Hilton Reports Q2 Earnings Beat but Issues Soft Q3 Outlook
Hilton Worldwide posted better-than-expected second-quarter earnings, but provided third-quarter guidance that fell short of analyst estimates.
Hilton Worldwide reported adjusted earnings per share of $2.29 for the second quarter of 2026, surpassing the consensus estimate of $2.27. Adjusted EBITDA came in at $1.05 billion, also above the forecast of $1.04 billion.
The company's outlook for the third quarter disappointed, however. It projects adjusted EPS between $2.28 and $2.34, below the $2.42 expected by analysts. Third-quarter adjusted EBITDA is seen at $1.04 billion to $1.06 billion, missing the $1.08 billion estimate.
For the full year, the hotel chain raised its adjusted EPS forecast to $8.89–$9.01 from a prior range of $8.79–$8.91. Annual adjusted EBITDA guidance was lifted to $4.04–$4.08 billion, previously $4.02–$4.06 billion. But net income is now expected to be $1.88–$1.91 billion, down marginally from the earlier $1.91–$1.94 billion view.
