Gold Edges Lower as Firmer USD Caps Recovery

Gold (XAU/USD) edged lower on Monday as a stronger US dollar and profit-taking capped gains after last week's rebound from a more than seven-month low.

Gold (XAU/USD) edged lower on Monday, weighed by a firmer US Dollar and mild profit-taking that capped the upside following last week's recovery.

The move comes after gold rebounded from a more than seven-month low, but the renewed strength in the greenback limited further gains.
