ESMA Adds Standard Chartered, 37 New CASPs to MiCA Register

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has added Standard Chartered and 37 other licensed crypto-asset service providers to its MiCA register, bringing the total to 280.

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) updated its Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) register for the first time after the regulatory deadline, adding 37 new licensed crypto-asset service providers (CASPs).

Notable among the additions is Standard Chartered, the multinational bank.
