Default Judgment Against Fake Crypto Platform NanoBit: $5.5M in Penalties

A US federal court has issued a default judgment against the fraudulent cryptocurrency platform NanoBit, ordering it to pay approximately $1.8 million, with total penalties exceeding $5.5 million.

The Eastern District of New York has entered a default judgment against the fraudulent crypto platform NanoBit and several related entities, including Radiant Horizons Limited, Sweet Karma Fashion Inc., and Zhao Tropical Deli Inc. The judgment also names individuals Jiajie Liu and Hua Zhao as defendants.

NanoBit Limited, the primary defendant, has been ordered to pay roughly $1.8 million. Combined penalties across all parties exceed $5.5 million. The ruling stems from a lawsuit alleging investment fraud linked to the phantom platform.
