CoinDCX Partners with I4C for Digital Suraksha Network Initiative

CoinDCX has partnered with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre to launch a cyber safety campaign called Satark Rahe, part of its ₹100 crore Digital Suraksha Network initiative aimed at combating digital fraud.

Indian crypto exchange CoinDCX has partnered with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), a unit of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), to launch a social-first cyber safety awareness campaign named Satark Rahe. The initiative was unveiled on Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas, a monthly observance under the MHA’s national cyber awareness programme.

The campaign is part of CoinDCX’s broader Digital Suraksha Network (DSN), a ₹100 crore (roughly $12 million) commitment focused on strengthening cybersecurity awareness and helping citizens protect themselves against digital financial fraud. CoinDCX, which serves over two crore users, has been expanding its focus beyond crypto trading to include digital trust and Web3 ecosystem development.

Campaign Tackles Rising Cyber Fraud

As digital payments, online investments, and app-based financial services grow across India, cyber fraud has become a mounting concern. Fraudsters increasingly use social engineering, phishing, impersonation scams, and fake investment schemes to target consumers. The Satark Rahe campaign addresses this through social media storytelling built around a character named “Satark,” using relatable scenarios to educate users about common threats and preventive measures.

A central message of the campaign is “Brake Lagao”, encouraging users to pause, verify, and validate the authenticity of requests, messages, links, and transactions before taking action. The goal is to promote behavioural changes that reduce vulnerability to online scams and financial fraud.

Government and Industry Collaboration

Shri Nishant Kumar, Director of I4C, stated that cybercriminals continue to adopt increasingly sophisticated methods. He noted that I4C has run nationwide awareness initiatives like CyberDost and that collaborative efforts involving government, industry, and civil society are critical for building a cyber-aware nation. He added that initiatives such as Satark Rahe can extend cyber safety messaging to wider audiences through accessible formats.

Sumit Gupta, Co-Founder of CoinDCX, highlighted that awareness remains one of the most effective tools against digital fraud. He acknowledged the government’s extensive efforts through I4C and MHA but said cybercrime requires joint action between government and industry. The Satark Rahe campaign aims to make cyber safety information more relatable, accessible, and actionable for everyday internet users.

The launch reflects a broader trend of tech and financial platforms working with government agencies on cybersecurity education, complementing technical measures like fraud detection and infrastructure investments. CoinDCX launched the Digital Suraksha Network as a long-term programme to bolster digital trust and safety across India’s expanding digital economy.
