Bank of Japan Keeps Interest Rate Unchanged at 1.00%

The Bank of Japan maintained its short-term interest rate at 1.00% as widely anticipated after its two-day policy meeting.

The Bank of Japan (BoJ) board members decided to leave the short-term interest rate unadjusted at 1.00%, as widely expected. The decision came at the end of the central bank’s two-day monetary policy review meeting.
