Apple Surpasses $5 Trillion Market Value, Largest Company Worldwide

Apple Inc. has become only the second company ever to surpass a $5 trillion market capitalization, making it the world’s largest company by market value and widening its lead over Nvidia.

Apple Inc. ($AAPL) has officially become the second company in history to reach a market capitalization above $5 trillion. The milestone further entrenches its position as the world's most valuable company, now roughly 6% larger than chipmaker Nvidia.

The achievement underscores the remarkable growth of Apple shares over the long term. According to the post, a $10,000 investment in Apple in 2003 would have grown to approximately $15.5 million today.
