Metaplanet keeps stacking

Japan's Metaplanet now holds 43,000 Bitcoin after another big purchase. Makes me wonder how many more corporates will follow this path 🤔

Saw that Metaplanet added another 2,823 BTC this quarter, bringing their stash to 43,000. That’s serious conviction, especially from a Japanese firm. Makes me wonder if we’ll see more Asian corporates loading up like this 🤔

They’re now nipping at Twenty One Capital’s heels as the second-largest corporate holder. Accumulation at this scale usually doesn't go unnoticed by the broader market. Could be a quiet signal that institutions still see BTC as a strategic reserve asset.

Great to see another corporate treasury embracing Bitcoin as a strategic asset 📈. The key question is whether more Japanese firms will follow suit, given their unique regulatory environment and yen depreciation pressures.

They're playing a dangerous game with shareholder money. One major drawdown and this "strategy" gets exposed as reckless gambling, not treasury management.

43,000 BTC is ~0.2% of total supply. Corporate adoption is real but still niche—most treasuries lack risk appetite for 60% drawdowns.

Interesting move, but 43k BTC is still a rounding error in the corporate treasury landscape. The real question is whether yen weakness justifies the FX risk—if dollar cost of capital rises, this leverage cuts both ways.

43k BTC is a serious stack, but let's be real—most corporates are too scared of volatility to copy this. Metaplanet's a niche play, not a trend. 🚀🔥
