US Dollar Index Steadies Above 99.50 on Safe-Haven Support

The US Dollar Index is hovering around 99.60 in Asian trading after minor gains the previous day, supported by safe-haven demand.

The US Dollar Index, which tracks the greenback against six major currencies, was trading around 99.60 during Asian hours. It steadied after posting minor gains the previous day.

Safe-haven support has kept the index above the 99.50 level, with the dollar holding its recent footing rather than extending the move sharply.
