UK June GDP rises 0.3% m/m on services strength
UK GDP rose 0.3% month-on-month in June, beating expectations, driven by a 0.4% expansion in services, TD Securities reported. May was revised to flat.

UK GDP increased 0.3% month-on-month in June, an upside surprise according to TD Securities. The gain was led by the services sector, which expanded 0.4% month-on-month.
The May figure was revised to flat. TD Securities added that the stronger reading is likely to have limited implications for Bank of England policy.
