Pound Holds Near Three-Month High Against Dollar

Sterling is trading just below 1.3550 against the dollar on Tuesday, holding within Monday's range after peaking near 1.3600 at its strongest since early May.

The British pound is trading just short of 1.3550 against the dollar on Tuesday, staying inside Monday's range after a peak near 1.3600 carried the pair to its strongest level since early May.

The rebound leaves close to 300 pips of recovery from a base just below 1.3300. The move marks a notable extension of the pound's recent strength against the US currency.
