Mexican Peso Slips as Traders Await FOMC Minutes

The Mexican peso weakened about 0.16% against the US dollar on Tuesday as investors awaited Federal Reserve meeting minutes and watched Middle East tensions.

The Mexican peso lost ground on Tuesday, depreciating about 0.16% against the US dollar.

Investors were awaiting the release of the Federal Reserve’s last meeting minutes. At the same time, market attention remained on Middle East tensions, with a resolution of the US-Iran conflict still pending.

The peso’s decline came against a cautious backdrop ahead of the Fed minutes and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.
