Iran Says No Blocked Funds Released, Proposes BRICS Financial Corridor

Iran’s Central Bank Governor Hemmati said that no funds from the blocked assets have been released so far under the agreement, according to IRIB News.
He added that Iran has proposed creating a financial corridor within BRICS, saying it would help advance the country’s economy.
The comments highlight ongoing uncertainty around asset access even as Iran pursues alternative financial channels through the BRICS group.
