Euro holds above 1.16 as traders await US August payrolls

EUR/USD is trading flat around 1.1625 in early Asian trading on Friday as market participants stay sidelined ahead of the US employment report for August.

EURUSD

The euro is little changed against the dollar, holding above the 1.1600 level. EUR/USD is around 1.1625 during the early Asian session on Friday.

Traders are waiting on the sidelines ahead of the key US employment report for August, which is scheduled for release later in the day. The data is expected to shape near-term dollar direction.
