CMC Markets Scores Multi-Year Partnership with Everton Football Club

CMC Markets will sponsor Everton's men's, women's and under-21 shirts in a multi-year Main Club Partnership, part of its push into broader financial services.
CMC Markets has agreed a multi-year Main Club Partnership with Everton Football Club, becoming the official front-of-shirt sponsor for the club's Men's, Women's and Under-21 teams. The deal gives the London-based trading firm prominent branding across senior and academy kits, as well as integration into Everton's digital matchday channels and fan experiences.
The sponsorship is framed as a strategic global brand investment that supports CMC's evolution from an established trading provider into a broader financial services firm. Through the "For the Passion" campaign, CMC says it aims to connect with long-term investors and active traders by linking football supporters' loyalty with the disciplined approach needed for financial planning.
Community and financial education
Beyond the on-kit visibility, the partnership includes a community-focused education component. CMC will work with Everton in the Community and The People's Learning Trust to deliver practical financial literacy programmes in the Liverpool City Region, with the goal of improving financial health among local residents. The initiative reflects a wider trend of fintech companies using sports assets to support ESG-driven outcomes.
CMC described the agreement as a pivotal brand milestone as it looks to diversify revenue streams beyond its 36-year trading heritage. The firm will also gain visibility at Everton's new Hill Dickinson Stadium, a venue with a 52,769-person capacity that is expected to provide significant global reach for the brand.
The company continues to lean on proprietary technology and existing strategic alliances with major banks including Westpac and ANZ as part of its longer-term growth strategy. The Everton sponsorship marks one of the most visible consumer-facing moves in CMC's history, signalling a shift away from a niche trading-platform identity and toward mainstream financial services positioning.
